Collaborating with Louisiana public agencies, cycling groups, businesses and others,
Seattleites have come together in a unique partnership to provide bicycles to evacuees
in and from hurricane-affected communities. Tiny bikes will go to tiny tots for Christmas!
All services and items have been donated, including trucking by Yellow Transportation.
Bikes will also be provided to evacuees relocated in the Northwest with surplus going to
local communities. The shipment will include personal notes from Seattle school children
and other items listed below
Drop off good used bikes, helmets, pumps, locks, backpacks, new water bottles, patch kits,
tire levers, red flashing lights, personal notes and kids’ drawings.
WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT BIKES IN GOOD CONDITION
