climbs with their bikes.
For Beginning and Social Riders not wanting as long a ride and less hills, there is
a main 27 mile loop from the Ferry Dock down the west side of the island, returning
up the east side of the island along the water and to the City of Vashon for mid-ride
nourishment and socializing at a local establishment.
For Social and Intermediate Riders wanting more challenge, there are enough additions
to the main loop to bring the total distance up to 50 miles. Whatever distance is
selected by the group all will meet up with everyone else in Vashon.

Month Day, Sunday, Whidbey Island
Ride Start: Mukilteo Ferry Dock, Mukilteo, WA
- Map/Directions.
Meet: 9am for 9:30am ferry.
Levels: Beginning, Social and Intermediate.
Ride Distance: 23, 36, 52 or 81 miles.
Ride Terrain: Rolling/Hilly.
Lead: TBA.
Ride Details:
For a nice change of pace, this week's rides will be on Whidbey Island requiring
us to take the Mukilteo Ferry to get to the start in Clinton.
Riders will have four ride choices, all which are hilly. Beginning and Social
Riders will take either the Clinton to Langley Loop (23 miles) or the Clinton
to Freeland Loop (36 miles) both which have a midway stop for refreshments and
socializing in Langley.
Intermediate Riders can select between the Clinton to Greenbank Loop (52 miles)
and Clinton to Coupeville Loop (81 miles). Both of these loops are challenging
and while they also have a rest stop in Langley because of their length they will
probably get riders back too late to meet up with everyone else for mid ride
refreshments.
Be sure to keep in mind that all of these routes require you to climb a few hills.
Thus, if hill climbing is not your thing yet, you may not want to go on this ride.
Also, remember that we will start out on the ferry so you will want
to be sure to bring money with you for both the ferry and parking at the ferry
terminal lot in Mukilteo.
With proper coordination, everyone will meet after the ride for socializing and fun
at a local Mukilteo establishment.
