February 10th, Friday, "I'll Love You Always: A Musical Valentine"
A Very Special Valentine with Friends
Join other club members for a special Valentine Weekend Performance, I'll
Love You Always at the Seattle's Benaroya Hall Nordstrom Recital
Hall.
Richard Hinrichsen Music is producing a benefit concert for the Lifelong
AIDS Alliance featuring some of the talent on our CD single "I'll Love You Always" and
some exciting guests, including the wonderful world-class concert pianist William Chapman Nyaho,
and the Reuel Lubag Jazz Trio.
When Rich Hinrichsen of Seattle lost his younger brother, Steve, to AIDS in 1993, he turned to music
for solace. His song for Steve, "I'll Love You Always," blends Blood Sweat & Tears/Chicago brass,
soul, a Bach-inspired chorale and heart-felt vocals about love, loss and hope. Last month, Rich finally
realized a dream, recording the song at Triad Studios in Redmond with some of the area's top musicians
from across genres.
The show will re-unite most of those musicians. Like the song, the event defies pigeonholing, instead
featuring a sampler of musical styles from classical to pop, jazz to R&B. Because it's nearly Valentine's
Day, the musicians will pay tribute to romance, but the audience should also expect some surprises.
After playing their own sets, all the artists will re-unite on stage for the grand finale performance
of "I'll Love You Always."
Seattle Bicycle Touring Club members will meet briefly before
the performance and then regroup afterwards for dessert, expresso and socializing at Gelatiamo -
Italian Ice Cream & Pastries, across from Benaroya.

For Intermediate Riders wanting more challenge, there are enough additions
to the main loop to bring the total distance up to 50 miles. Whatever distance is
